My name is Sarah Morris and my husband, Tyler, and I have recently taken over the Stabilizer business from my parents. I've always been proud of my father's invention and all of my mother's hard work running the business, so I decided to step up to the plate when they were ready to focus more on golf and travelling. My family has been OBSESSED with curling going back several generations. I have great memories of being "curled" down the ice on a stone as a toddler and cheering my father on at the Brier.
We are located in the Nation's capital of Ottawa, but can ship to anywhere. The Stabilizer was invented by my dad back in 1995....I can still remember the first prototype that required a lot of duct tape (another great Canadian invention). He would practice his pitches and present his models to my friends, sometimes to my embarrassment as a cool teenager!
We are proud to sell a Canadian product and run a family owned operation. My other jobs are teaching high school Physical Education and being a first time mom to our little son, Jack. My husband is a Carpenter, with a degree in Business. My parents, Earle and Maureen Morris and brother, John, are part of our great team and continue to give us advice and promote the product on the curling circuit.
